what's going on over here
-I am leaving in a few hours to go on a road trip with my roll dog and main man, Peter. We are heading to Utah for some solid camping, national park touring, river walking and rock hunting. I love rock hunting. More on that later.
-We will be driving for a week, coming back to San Francisco next Wednesday, only to leave that night on a redeye to Aruba. Yes, Aruba. We will be watching 2 great friends tie-the-knot and celebrate through the
nightweekend.
-I am so excited for both of these events I can barely handle it.
-my excitement is currently being suppressed by stressful work environments and the rush of getting everything done before I go. Which is totally reasonable, and a minor problem.
-It also helps to make sure I dont over think packing, which is a problem I have when I am presented with too much free time before a trip, which ultimately leads to shopping because I think I
need something for this trip.
-speaking of which, those
pink snake skin DV loafers are back on Gilt today. I have them waitlisted. A Hot $45 for pink snake skin loafers is $45 well spent.
-my awesome co-worker burned me a bunch of CDs out of no where cause he knew I was going on a road trip. What a nice move! some classics (Johnny Cash) and some others he just thought I might like. So thrilled, both about the CDs and knowing that he is just such a nice guy!
-My other roll dog and BFF is coming to town in a few weeks, and we just had to make the big decision of going on a party bus to The Bridge School concert or rolling more solo into wine country. although both would be fun, we opted for solo wine country. As fun as we are, (we are) we do better just us. we need our quality time. It was a big decision though, cause we love concerts.
-I love my new
sam edleman shoes.
-I miss my mom
-It is so hot in San Francisco!!
-I cant wait to show you guys pictures of our trip.
